    Graceland

So now that my girlfriend and I have been to The Biltmore, we're thinking about other places we could go next year. One of my suggestions is Graceland. Now, my girlfriend is on board, but she's more interested in Beale Street than the whole Elvis thing, though I think she would enjoy that as well. There is a package via the Heartbreak Hotel that includes tickets to Graceland, free lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe, tickets to Sun Studios, Stax Museum, and Memphis Museum of Rock n Soul.

Anyway, does anybody have any impressions on Graceland and/or Beale Street? Good places to go eat, visit, etc? Places to park by Beale Street?

    Re: Graceland

Beale Street is a really cool place to hang out. Especially if you go with a bunch of friends like I usually do. Usually is about 14-16 of us together and we walk Beale Street, go from club to club and such. They are several nice places to eat and to get your drink on if you drink alcohol.

I've never been to Graceland, although I've lived in the TN and MS area all my life I've never been. Always wanted to go though. As far as the parking, its just much different than other places. Parking garages. But they're pretty much watched over by security guards. I don't like them, don't know many people that do, but it beats parking on the side of the street.

I think you guys would enjoy it. While you're downtown, check out Autozone Park. It's the home of the Memphis Redbirds, the St. Louis Cardinals Triple-A affiliate. Very beautiful park to be a minor league teams park.
