Sorry to hear FC. Your dad and yourself have never left my prayers and will continue. Stay strong bro.

Funky I am so sorry to hear all this man. First time seeing this thread. Truly breaks my heart seeing people go through this. One of my best friends his dad just got diagnosed with colon cancer and is taking Chemo. My buddy is hanging in there but it is rough.

Praying for the best for you guys. Take care man

Stay strong man, and I will put you and your dad in my prayers tonight. OS is a great place to be during down times. And since you are asking for prayers I assume you are somewhat religous if you need a song listen to kutless's new worship song "that's what faith can do" or "Healer" from Hillsong they are both very powerful songs that you may need to hear right now.

My dad is being admitted to the hospital later today. He has not been eating much and his energy and strength are low. They are going to feed him intravenously. This is to raise his energy level and strength. He will be in the hospital for a couple of days at least. I will be staying with him at the hospital. I stay 2 days and then go home 1 day to shower a sleep. Hopefully he will not be in there longer then 2 or 3 days. I will try to keep you guys updated.

He will be in my prayers through all of this. So will you. It is not only those who are suffering illness that suffer. It's those who love them, as well. It's really a blessing to see someone openly love their parent. It's not really the norm these days. May God bless both you and your Dad. He's there for you both through all of this. Brian

My dad's doctor stopped by our house to see my dad today. My dad was supposed to go to the doctor's office but was too tired and weak to go. No more chemo treatments. Doctor said it is time to make dad as comfortable as possible. Hospice is coming tomorrow. Needless to say I am down. I know the time is near and just don't want my dad to have to suffer any more.

Sorry to hear this bro. The same thing happen with my 12 year cousin. She had cancer and hospice came. She died and I was there by her side. The only thing that got me through it was knowing she would not be in pain anymore and she said she was ready to go. It will be heavy, so make sure you are with your family and help each other out the best you can.
