2nd Police officer in Philadelphia killed in the line of duty in a month 4th in year.

What the hell is going on. 4 cops now killed since last halloween. All of them killed by animals with a conviction sheet as long as a new york phone book. My question is, how is someone with 16 prior convictions of violent crimes, and drug charges able to roam the streets? How are they put back out that many times after being found guilty. I am not talking shoplifting charges either. Aggravated assault, attempted murder, armed robbery. CONVICTIONS, and judges still release them, and they go on to kill, rob, rape and deal poison. How many times does someone need to be found guilty of violent crimes before they are deemed unable to be rehabilitated?

I am all for giving people 2nd chances. but a 17th chance is a tad ridiculous dont ya think?

This really blows my mind, The officer killed back in May, Sgt Steven Liczbinski, was killed by a bank robber who had no business being on the street. My Brother actually knew him. He used to come and break up fights at the bar my sister in law was a bartender at, and when my brother would pick up his wife to make sure she was ok, he would end up talking with the cops, officer Liczbinski being one of them. So it really shocked us that a guy we have talked to and helped us out was dead, and dead because someone let a guy who has been convicted over 10 times for violent crimes was free to walk the streets

There is so much wasted money out there...why can't they put it towards housing for people who shouldn't be on the streets? Lock them up and let them have their "life" behind bars where they can't affect the happiness of other people.

I've always been a believer that people should be allowed to live as they please as long as they don't interfere with the happiness of others. You break that one then you need go be put away.

The backgrounds of these criminals is disgusting and it's even worse they are allowed back on the streets.

It's kinda like the financial situation in the US now as well...there are way too many innocent victims.

Not trying to make it anything more than it is: something that doesn't belong in this thread and was done for no other reason that to instigate a response from a Phillies' fan. So congrats, on getting your response "hook, line, and sinker" and maybe you should be more worried about the Mets' failures than those of Phillies' fans.
