I see no one made a thread like this about thier city....

Charlotte NC is out of gas.....
Due to people overeacting about gas going up, then people overeacting to people overeacting about gas going up....most of the city is out of gas....where there is gas, there are lines wrapped around the street.

The govener had to call in a shipment to be delivered last night to refill....its just rediculous man...Charlotte goes crazy about EVERYTHING. I still remember when we cancelled school b\c we THOUGHT we were going to get a hurricane come though here....and one time b\c we THOUGHT it was going to snow!

it ran out because the flow is still slow from when they shut everything off from the two hurricanes. It was just delayed a week or so because they were using reserves until they got the refineries back up to speed.

I'm on fumes, but won't wait in 30 car long lines. It's people that panic when they see lines and feel they have to get gas that ruin it for everyone.

You should take some trash cans and fill them up with gasoline. Then sell the gasoline back to people at an increased price.

I know you're trying to make a joke but this is something that I don't get. Why don't people think longterm and fill up a canister or some such of gas and keep it for these kind of situations?

I know gasoline is highly flammable but it's not like it's so dangerous that you can't keep it sealed in a garage or storage somewhere.

Oh and 24th letter I forgot to mention this in my first post but that's not so embarrassing. After all I still cringe when I think about Toronto's mayor during one of our worst winters crying out on national TV about how Toronto needs the military to come in and pave our roads. "sigh"

Yeah... I got a call from one of my girls about this! She had to put $7 dollar a gallon racing fuel in her car just to get gas!

For that kind of money she should have driven a few counties over to get some.

it's all these idiots topping off their tank everyday. It's draining the supply and causing long lines here. If people would not panic, the problem would not be as bad.

That combined with the very slow supply into the south east.

North Carolina has been getting it bad for two weeks. This almost happened 2 weeks ago to the entire state, but a big shipment came in 2 Tuesdays ago to avoid an all out crisis.

Thank god my parents have gas right now, my parents are just laughing at all the people going crazy, but they say the news in Charlotte says once the shipments come in for gas everything will be ok.
