Wow. Definitely feel sorry that the man died like that. Though it seemed fitting for him to leave after the act that he tried to do, I'd certainly would have liked to hear of him be unconscious but alive. Not really blaming the state of this world on the situation but he might have had a bunch of time on his hands since he had no job. Also feel sorry for the mother who lost a son. Never easy to lose a seed regardless of what they were doing. Just a word of advice, empathize. Also feel sorry for the man who unintentionally took the man's life. It seems like a noble act, but taking a life is never all it's cracked up to be, especially when we don't have the power to bring it back. So many thoughts.......

Or he might have been a convicted felon that was let out of jail early because people never do the time for their crime and he finally got what was coming to him.http://flotn.blogspot.com

I don't ever, and I will never, applaud the death of someone. I find it sad that somewhere along the line someone failed this man, and that he failed himself and wasn't able to get his life together, especially at his age.Comment

I don't believe in killing people. I believe in jailing them, but I believe in leaving them with their life.
If you don't, then that's fine - but don't try to give me bull**** because I feel differently than you about it.Comment

Re: Father chokes rapist to death...
I will agree to disagree with Timmay on this, but he has the right to feel what he wants. Personally I'm glad as a taxpayer I don't have to give my tax dollars to the govt so he can get "rehabilitated" again. Some people in this world are just evil. Nothing society, their family, or friends can do to change that. At some point society doesn't fail you. You failed yourself, and that's what happened in this case. Dude was a convicted rapist, never registered to be a sex offender, and tried raping again. He wasn't going to change and the world is better off without him. I feel sorry for his mom, because she lost a son. That's about as far as I'm going with feeling sorry on his behalf.President of the Devils Den

Re: Father chokes rapist to death...
how do you know someone failed this man ? Some people are just idiots. I have zero compassion for murderers, rapist, and child molesters. You seem to always be more concerned with the bad guy than what happened to the innocent person, or what they will be dealing with for a long time, maybe forever. My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Father chokes rapist to death...
I understand that some of you think it is "unfortunate" for this "person" to have to die, but let's look at the circumstances here.
Let's say any of you opposing this persons death walk into your house (assuming you live in a house with your sister, wife, daughter, mother, etc...) and pass by your female relatives bedroom. You happen to notice her being held down against her will, and about ready to be driven into a lifetime of hell and paranoia because some registered sex offender has decided to make her his prey.
Now, I am not saying you wouldn't stop the man, but wouldn't adrenaline take over and cause you to basically flip out? If I even SEEN a stranger lurking in my home I would lose it. Now add him in the mix of harming a family member and wow... Just wow.
If you had a man like this in a choke hold because you are trying to restrain him from harming you and your family, would you be more worried about if he can breathe or if you are holding him tight enough to prevent him from further hurting you and your family - which were obviously his intentions.
I'm sorry, I feel this murder is 100% justified.
How else should this have gone? A nice conversation?
Dad: Oh hello. What are you doing down there?
Rapist: Why hell there Sir. Just out for a stroll, thought some innocent old rapage was needed and I stumlbed upon your daughter that I had been scoping out for the last few days.
Dad: I'm sorry to hear that. Could I ask you please let her go and kindly escort yourself out?
Rapist: Well.... Sure. You've been respectful to me so far, so yes. I will leave your home and I'll make sure to lock the door on the way out. Good day.
Dad: OK thanks!I post the frog

As a father with a young daughter, believe me, I wouldnt hesitate to do the same thing and wouldnt bat an eyelash at the loss of this so-called 'life'.

What I said was that I'm not cheering this death, because I don't believe in killing anyone. I'm just not the type to go "yay! lolz! someone died and the world is a better place."
I'm more of a "what a terrible situation to have been in, and its terrible that someone had to die."
I've never found anything funny, and I've never found any comfort, in the death of another human being. Just not who I am.Last edited by MC Fatigue; 09-30-2008, 04:38 PM.Comment

Re: Father chokes rapist to death...
That doesn't exactly related to what I said. Like I said earlier - the father certainly wasn't trying to kill him, he just happened to have him in a bad struggling position until the cops came.
