I'm looking to get my mom a new laptop for christmas. I'm wondering what the cheapest/best laptop you can get for your money?
Now im no cheapskate, but she just won't use the laptop for anything other than surfing and maybe some light word processing, so i don't want to get her some premium notebook where 99% of the stuff goes unused. I'd like to spend in the 300-400 dollar range (if thats even possible?) But would go up around 500-600 if its going to last awhile.
Additionally, i dont normally follow the "computer sales trends", but is there typically a ridiculously low priced laptop that comes out around the holidays? Or do laptops stay relatively the same price nowadays? Thanks for any help.
