Paintball isn't as fun unless it's outdoors. Been to a few indoor places and it just isn't the same.

This thread has made me want to get back into paintball, maybe this Spring or Summer I'll have to bring out the old gear and clean it up.

When I first moved here I think I saw some info about a paintball field that had some kind of beach assault like Omaha in WWII

Played it like 4 times. Fun as ****, especially when you ain't playing with a bunch of little *** kids that don't know the meaning of teamwork at all.

Still a good time to play, now that I think about it.

I play probably every other week out at a guys property. Only thing I have to pay for is paint and I can make 1 hopper last 3 or 4 games. I shoot only when I have a shot on someone to save $$$.

Worst place to get shot is in the kidneys. I wear a sweatshirt usually and getting shot there will take me to my knees, anywhere else I can keep going.

We love playing "go until you can't take it anymore". That is usually the last game when we are almost out of air and paint.

haven't played in a while played a lot more about 12 years ago when I was around 14 or so.

Last time I played (about a year ago) I had bruises all over me.

I only had one time where I was left with major bruising and broken skin. We were using really really old paint that had hardened though...

I got hit in the hand once, that one actually hurt. I don't play much as I don't have my own gun, but I like playing it.

Heh, I play every weekend! I'm on a local team from here. We have practice every weekend. The captain of the team has his own field that is open to the public so we get a lot of players to play their. Then we travel to all the local tournaments. Played in World Cup last year which was a blast.

I own a Smart Parts Dynasty Shocker. I use a Torque for my hopper. Use Draxxus for playing gear(Pants, Jerseys, Gloves, ect)... It's not too expensive for me though. We have a couple of sponsorships that get us by. All I had to buy was some of my main stuff...

I played today at the local fields - http://www.officialpaintball.com/ - today.

Love the variety of fields, but my lack of good equipment kind of made it suck. These people with 1000's of dollars of equipment just find a spot and shoot from afar non stop. Plus it was like 10 vs 10 most of the time.

For around $300 you can pick up some really decent markers. I'd go with the Proto SLG or the Invert Mini. Both are excellent out of the box so you don't really need to upgrade right away.. eventually I'd get a new barrel though.

For around $300 you can pick up some really decent markers. I'd go with the Proto SLG or the Invert Mini. Both are excellent out of the box so you don't really need to upgrade right away.. eventually I'd get a new barrel though.

Stay away from Proto! You will find nothing but headache their! You will be fixing your gun more than shooting it. If your gonna go that direction, then you can get a DYE PM7 or PM8 for a decent price now days.

Shocker is still the way to go though!!! Smart Parts all the way!

Looks like I need to move to Texas! Texas is becoming really popular with the sport... I was so looking forward to playing in the Houston NPPL event last year until the stupid hurricane had to go and ruin everything...
