I'm just going out on a limb and saying he was either mentally disturbed or just paranoid and on something.

I can't imagine any reasonable person believing his excuse - especially given the fact he has a record.

First of all. Its Halloween, he should know that people are going to be knocking on his door that night. Second, who the **** empties an AK47 into a door just because someone knocks?

As for this story, I'm willing to bet $0.87 that the people inside the house were under the influence of either cocaine or methamphetamine.

Police said they also charged a 19-year-old in his home, Ericka Patrice Pee, with obstruction of justice when she was caught trying to run away after the shooting with $7,500 in cash. Patterson did not give an explanation for the money.

I wonder if in 10 years Halloween will start being held indoors. The church I go to had a "Trunk or Treat" where people would park their cars, open their trunks, and have kids go from trunk to trunk getting candy. What a joke.

The thing is this isnt shocking to me at all. Every day I read a story like this. The sad part is i've almost become numb to this.
