Re: I think my house is haunted
Ok this tells a lot. She probably has 'placenta brain'. Man it is real. We had our first child 6 months ago. My wife couldn't remember anything. It was like her short term memory was taken from her. I think of 'placenta brain' as a younger bout of Alzheimer's.Comment

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: I think my house is haunted
Check your Closet. Do you live in China or Japan? Also, the lights can do that for many reason. You might have mice chewing on the wires. The jar is a tough one, maybe it was loosen and she couldn't tell because her hands were sweaty. I did that last night with a jar and told my wife I couldn't open it and she said I did open it. The doors can be from, wait, do you live in a old house? If you do that happens a lot with doors, they settle all the time.

Re: I think my house is haunted
Lights are probably a mouse, squirrel, brown out, moisture, etc as others have said.
The doors are from settling as stated or from a draft. In my parents house, my bedroom door would shut when the AC was on if I didn't close it all the way. If the latch was not locked in and it was touching the frame, it would close on its own. In my house, the master bedroom door will open unless you make sure the latch is locked in. Its just how it settled or a draft.Comment

Re: I think my house is haunted
You are in a new house and presumably a newer development. My kitchen lights at my old house would dim all the time. As far as doors being shut solidly, your house could still be settling and the doors and latches have quite come to their resting place.
As far as the apples, women are nuts. Don't believe her.
Remotes, my wallet, book I was reading, they always reappear right where I just looked. Just happens. Most likely Gremlins, not ghosts.
There its debunked. Get yourself a Ouija Board and see if you can get that thing to move, its the quickest way to confiirm or deny. I personally would never touch one, but thats me. Let me know how it works out.Concrete evidence/videos pleaseComment

Japanese woman caught living in man's closet
By MARI YAMAGUCHI, Associated Press Writer
Fri May 30, 3:21 PM ET
A homeless woman who sneaked into a man's house and lived undetected in his closet for a year was arrested in Japan after he became suspicious when food mysteriously began disappearing.
Police found the 58-year-old woman Thursday hiding in the top compartment of the man's closet and arrested her for trespassing, police spokesman Hiroki Itakura from southern Kasuya town said Friday.
The resident of the home installed security cameras that transmitted images to his mobile phone after becoming puzzled by food disappearing from his kitchen over the past several months.
One of the cameras captured someone moving inside his home Thursday after he had left, and he called police believing it was a burglar. However, when they arrived they found the door locked and all windows closed.
"We searched the house ... checking everywhere someone could possibly hide," Itakura said. "When we slid open the shelf closet, there she was, nervously curled up on her side."
The woman told police she had no place to live and first sneaked into the man's house about a year ago when he left it unlocked.
She had moved a mattress into the small closet space and even took showers, Itakura said, calling the woman "neat and clean."Comment

Re: I think my house is haunted
Lately alot of weird things have been going on at my house:
-Basement lights dimming for no reason, this only happened 3 times but what would cause it. I would deem it an electrical problem if it happened all the time.
-Doors opening that have been solidly shut, happens all the time.
-my wife was trying to open a jar of spiced apples and couldn't so she went to get a towel and when she came back they were open and the lid was halfway off.
-remotes missing then turning up, where we had already looked.
Have any of you guys experienced this and can you help me debunk some of these. We are the first and only owners of our house so unless we're on an indian burial ground, I don't know what's going on.Comment
