I can identify. It's been like that here for a few days now. It's the point where C=F.
It's my 5th winter here, and the coldest so far. We've also already had probably about 3 weeks or more when max temperatures never rose over -6F during the day (without w/c). It's getting a bit warmer on Friday, but will go down to to around -13F during the day again from the weekend and on.
I don't mind it, as I don't work outside. As long as my car is running and the furnace is working, I don't mind. I don't mind shoveling snow outside for a couple of hours, you never sweat. All the bugs that bit me in the summer when I worked in my back yard are memories I don't forget easily. I'll take shoveling snow in extreme cold over being out when it's hot, stick and full of bugs.
The thing that bothers me is driving. That's the thing I don't like about winter. And roads have been all icy here especially the last few days, the city just can't get rid of it. It's just bad, and I'm probably the slowest driver out there, but I'm fine with that.
Again, I can never forget how I hate warm weather, so one thought about those summer days, and I feel much better about this cold weather we have here.
I've said it before, don't mind if it goes straight from spring to fall.
