I haven't mowed my lawn in 3 weeks here in Syracuse. Droughts are nothing new here but it's pretty unheard of to have a drought this early in the summer. Getting a decent tan this Summer though....

It's been in the low 90's this whole week, but with the humidity the RealFeel has been in the mid 100's. Luckily, storms arriving later today and tomorrow to clear the air and bring us down 15 degrees for the few days after.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Same here. Mid to low 90's, but feels over 100 with humidity. Some sites reporting tomorrow may be 100, with 99 the next few days. Some same mid 90's. Either way, HOT. Has not been this hot since 2012, but less consistent.
Everyday in 2012 it was 95, not too humid, but thunderstorm everyday for 20 minutes around 4-5pm. This year the storms have been sporadic and sometimes earlier, a lot of times at night, and even twice a day.

Haha, spot on about the storms. That was my commute home from work at the time. Sprint to car hopefully don't get struck by lightning, turn windshield wipers to max speed, and get home in 45 minutes instead of 20 because OMG it's raining!NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Wow. We're not quite as bad here in NW Ohio. They're saying 74 our low tonight. We won't see 60s, at any time of day or night, until at least Monday night, which is extreme for around here. We don't normally see these 4-5 plus day 90+ high, 70+ low heat waves where I'm at.
