Going to have highs in the upper 60's-lower 70's for the next week or more at least. This winter is going to be fairly mild at this rate. It was 80 on Friday.

We're unlikely to have a la nina this year last I read.

Yeah, we're screwed up this week as well. Most of last week was in the 50s during the day, 40s at night. Yesterday was 76, today 61, tomorrow 57, 76 again on Tuesday and Wednesday and then back to 61 or 62 Thursday through Saturday.

75 right now. The record was 71 set back in 1954.

It's gonna plummit to 38 for the low tonight overnight. Tomorrow the high will be 39. Sunday 38.

Oh, and with 25 to 35 MPH winds and gusts up to 50 MPH possible this weekend.

That big low is tracking across the country.

We hit 72 yesterday and 70 this morning, but the tempetures are dropping by the hour in the afternoon.

We have a wind adversary till tomorrow night of up to 45 mph winds.

Bring it. I'll take the nice weather we've had for fall every year.

Bring on some heavy ****. Gonna be a very wet, very windy, very lightning-y (thanks to the currently imbedded severe storms making their way here) and increasing cold evening.

I'm currently on a three week rotation at an emergency hospital in Vermont. It is currently snowing here.

Got over a foot of snow. Many trees are down. Out of the 18 pine trees in my backyard, about a dozen giant 150 pound branches broke off and came crashing to the ground. The power was out for 10 hours yesterday and for a good 3 hours today. One of my neighbors down the street had a pine tree fall on the front half of his house. The roads were a mess yesterday. Snow was coming down way too fast for the plow trucks to keep up. There were DOZENS of accidents all over the place. People put way too much faith in the SNOW MODE of their SUVs. Just because you have 4 wheel drive and snow mode doesn't mean you can drive just as fast as you would on dry pavement.

Second weekend in a row with snow in the forecast. This is comes with a one two punch and combining into one.

The forecast is for snow from late tomorrow afternoon/early evening till Sunday evening.

8 to 12 inches are anticipated for this area and then the cold arctic air comes in for the remainder of next week.

                            Wind chills below 0.

I read your updates like...this man must live in Antarctica lol. Severe winter weather is going to be what stops me from living in the Northeast. I can't imagine ever getting used to it.

It's the thousands of mountains up here and how close this state is to Canada. The main band of the jet stream literally goes right through this state when it dips down from Canada and the mountains amplify it like a magnifying glass.

Very weird weather system in this state. I can go down hill into the valley, just 2 miles down and it can be dry and clear. But up higher where I live it can be 2 inches of snow on the ground. Drive 5 more miles even higher up the mountain and they got over 14 inches of snow.
