Man you don't understand how much I hate this damn phrase. I said the same thing, EVERYHTING is that it is. What the hell is the point. I hate it. People say it around me on purpose because they know how much I hate it

Know what I hate? Is when sportscasters use the word "sexy". As in, the Pats have a "sexy" offense, or the Red Wings are the "sexy" pick to win the Stanley Cup. It's like really???? are you serious???

It is simple, it means " It is what it is. Meaning you can't fight it. It is just that way! I love that saying. It is who I am and I used that saying a lot.

Honestly, who really knows what it means. I think it means that things are the way they are, so there is no use worrying about it.

Its a term of acceptance to me though. Like you have no power over your life decisions or how you handle situations.

I used it a lot when there are problems in my life that I can do nothing about. Like my Grandma dying or having to be put in a home. Or when I am talking to my mom about her problems!

It is simple, it means " It is what it is. Meaning you can't fight it. It is just that way! I love that saying. It is who I am and I used that saying a lot.

I think the biggest reason I don't like it is because one of my old bosses used to say it all the damn time. I swear to god, in an 8 hour shift he would say it 20-30 times.

Just seeing that phrase reminds me of that stupid song from the late 90s. I heard that damn song so many times it's not even funny because my sister and all her friends were obsessed with it.
