My fiance and I usually sleep with a little stand up fan because the noise of our ceiling fan gets her on nerves. Last night was going to be pretty cold though (at least colder then it's been recently) so we didn't sleep with the ceiling fan on, so no need to sleep with the stand fan. So I woke up about 3am from wind hitting my face, I notice the fan is turned on and pointed right at us, full blast. I am thinking, she must have been getting annoyed by the ceiling fan. So I get up, go to the restroom and go to move the fan away from us, and she asked me if I could turn it off because it's cold. She then asked me why I had it on. I told her, I figured she turned it on because of the noise the ceiling fan was making. She then reminds me, that the ceiling fan is not on. So not only was the fan on and running on high towards it, it had to be plugged up too. The room is fairly dark at night and the only way to see how to plug it up is turning on a light. Any movement she makes, I wake up.

So somehow the fan got turned on. Not sure how, but pretty crazy.

I had something like this happen to me years back. but little different.

Me and my sister were at home one night. Our parents were at work, putting in some over time with the family business. Well it was pouring raining, thunder and lighting. We had a big bay window in the living room. We were watching TV, when all of a sudden BOOM BOOOOM on the front bay window. Well I thought one of my boys was F-ing around so I jump up run to the window and try to catch who it was. Well then behind us in a matter of secs, the back window gets a big BOOOM BOOOM. Now we had a privacy fence around the house, so to run from the front bay window, jump the privacy fence THEN bang on the back window would take a little time. The time it took me to run 10 feet to the front bay, they were banging on the back window. Well I then told my sister (she is in my photos arena) to go watch out the back window and see who it was. I was watching the front. Then under the carport on the screen door.....BOOM BOOM on the metal part at the bottom on the door. At this point, I grabbed my shotgun, threw some shells in and ran out the front door. I did not see a single person. I walked across the street to my buddies house thinking it was him so I wanted to confront him. I tell him the story, we walk back in the rain to my house as I am explaining what happened. He then looks at me and says "Why is there no wet foot prints under the carport?, they had to come under here to hit the door!" I did not know what to say.

Well nothing else happened and I moved out the house year or two later. Not long after I moved out. My parents started having weird **** happening. My mom had the front door open on its own a few times and the dogs would go crazy. Then one night my step dad gets up early to go work, at 4am when he got up all the windows and doors in the house was open. So this got them to thinking what is going on.

Bottom line no one ever knew what was happening. After the last deal with all the windows and doors being open. They could not get a grip on what was happening and sold the house and moved to a new home.

But we never figured out what was going on. To this day I have no clue what was going on that rainy night, BUT I will tell you for a fact that night will stick with me for the rest of my life. It was one of the strangest experiences.

New one every week, I use to hook up with alot of her friends before I got tired of the immature chicks. Most are sexy also, but it gets old after a while when counting is hard for them :P

Agreed 100%. I've had some freaky experiences in my day and have seen some freaky things in my day, I am a 100% believer.

Here is just a little internet nugget I found out. Do you know that some koreans have a superstition about running fans while they sleep? They believe you can die because the fan will suck out all the air or something.
