Damn dude, it's a miracle you're alive. Hope noone was seriously injured there.
I'd suggest checking out the new Toyota Camrys, Nissan Altimas/Maximas, and ofcourse the Honda Accord. Any of these would be good choices.Comment

Re: Totaled my truck and now looking for a new ride
You are very lucky friend. I've see much worse outcomes from far less damage. (My arena has info)
My friend has an Altima and I really dig it. I've always had good luck with every Nissan I've ever owned, and haven't had any major disappointments with them.Comment

Glad you're ok man. And I would recommend an Altima.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Altima
Mazda 6 (2009 version)
Chevy Malibu
Acura TSX
Honda Accord
Imo, any of those cars are solid choices and have something different to offer. Good luck!“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

Re: Totaled my truck and now looking for a new ride
My wife's 2008 Altima was totaled in an accident, but we both loved the car before it got smashed. The v-6 has all the pick up you'll ever need, and it gets around 30 mpg. I test drove the Accord and didn't fit very well (6'5, 350), but was very comfy in the Altima sedan. If you start looking at SUV's, I can recommend the Honda Pilot as it is what I currently drive. It gets great gas mileage for a full sized SUV.Comment

Re: Totaled my truck and now looking for a new ride
The base line Maxima(s trim level) is going to run in the mid 25k range. I have the sv trim level with the sport package and that will run at about 30k. It also just got a 5 star front and side impact rating.
This is the exact one I have:
