    Yikes.. thrown under a train for writing a letter to a girl? I know they were from different "classes", but taking a life seems a bit harsh..

          yea I think throwing someone under a train is a little much for writing a fricken love letter.

                  They live in a region where there still is a caste system. Impoverished, ignorant and uneducated. Yet another reason people here should be thankful for what they have.

                      I don't get this? I can see if the boy was a lower caste, but he is was hire. Why would the lower caste care?

                          and you can't tell me differently... unless you're joking.

                          Love across caste lines is often violently opposed, especially in rural northern India, and it is not uncommon for outraged families to kill to "save the family honor."

                                  First thing I thought of.

                                  I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

                                  I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
