    Man killed at Burger King

This happened a block from my work the other day. I got food from this guy a few times. Anyway, just check out the story. So sad, dude was doing everything he could to get out the hood. Army, College, working a job, then gets killed. Breaks my heart.

        Terrible Story. RIP.

It's always sad that so many good people get taken away by thoughtless acts such as this.

It would be nice to read about a random acts of senseless kindness in the news headlines instead of heartbreaking stories like this.

            No kidding.

Technically, acts of kindness do happen daily. It's just that nobody cares to read about them in the paper. The negative stories like this one sell the most papers.

Hopefully if it's the 17 year old they will try him as an adult and he will get sentenced to life.

The juvenile justice system is a complete joke. Teenagers are still be treated with kiddy gloves and literally can get away with murder. It pisses me off to see what they can do and not spend one day in jail.

Rest in peace to that young man...he sure as heck didn't deserve that hand of fate.

Yea, i heard about the shooting when i got to work the next morning. I did not know it was the manager that got shot though.

Where my work happens to be on the rough side of town. Use to be the the old oil field district but only a few still remain and we are one of them. I see some crazy crap day in and day out.

The amount of homeless people that walk into my work begging for money just drives me up the wall.

It is just a bad part of town. Makes me happy to get to drive back to my good side of town every afternoon, cause they got some crazyyyyy stuff that goes down over there.

It is just sad a good guy trying to make it gets his life ended by some young punk with no worry for anyone but himself.
