Anyone own an English Bulldog?

My sister had one with her last year when she lived in Florida. I can tell you they are stubborn as hell and growl a lot.

They are awesome dogs. I would get one. Only thing I suggest is look at rescues first. Its harder to find the pure breads there, but you still can. Not to mention you will save money.

All I know is they don't live very long.

I know that doesn't help much, but it's something to think about.

That's what my girlfriend is getting me for christmas. They really aren't that active or so I hear. I also heard that all they do is lay around and fart. Yes, I said fart.

yes dogs fart, if its doing it a lot, try changing their food

one time my dog was laying on his back and i poked both sides of his belly which caused his muscles to tighten which squeezed out a hilarious fart. Nothing like making eye contact with a dog while it is farting. It made our bond that much deeper and affected me in a profound way... Good ol' Pablo haha.

edit: to stay on topic i heard that some bulldogs have hip-problems
