Why do people always have to investigate anything? Can't they leave some things as they are? People have been celebrating Christmas all over the world and been very happy with it. Why ruin it?!

Christmas on June???
I know religion stuff isn't allowed here, but this one is interesting: I read on a local news site that astronomers discovered that Jesus was born on June, not on December. Anyone heard abything about it?

Re: Christmas on June???
A few reasons why any historical dates and stories may be distorted.
1. We aren't using the same calendar.
2. Record keeping was extremely sketchy in those days.
3. Much of what was written was done after the fact.
Other reasons why this date may be wrong. Do a little research as I don't want to discuss it here, but pretty much any Christian holiday coincides with other celebrations.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Re: Christmas on June???
OK guys, but if you read the first post again, you'll see that my other point was that people shouldn't investigate everything. Some things are better left as they are. Christmas is supposed to be a great holiday and full of joy (if I understand it correctly), so leave it this way. It doesn't really matter if it's scientificly right or not.My Specs:
