Do you visit rlslog.net by any chance? That's where I got mine. Use Noscript plugin for Firefox to browse safely.

Get Malwarebytes and Spyware Doctor and update and scan with both of those. Malwarebytes is the more useful of the two if you can't get Spyware Doctor registered. Should probably scan while not connected to the internet also after you update them.

Look in Msconfig (Start > Run > Msconfig > Startup tab) for any weird things that are starting up. Mine were random named .dll files being executed on startup. Uncheck all the ones that you don't know what they are. My .dlls were named like... pologodi.dll, hayemave.dll, jahanane.dll.

Look in the registry (Start > Run > Regedit.. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > Current Version > Run) and make sure there aren't any weird things in there. The same .dll's from my msconfig startup were in there. Highlight them, right click, and delete.

I just got rid of it. My Norton protection got rid of it, what kind of symptoms are you experiencing?

I have this same virus. I scan with Malwarebytes' every day or two. I was using IE until last week (I know, I know), but now I'm on Firefox. After the scan and removal, I just browse my normal sites and after a few hours, I get random pop-ups. Then things start to run much slower as well.

Guys, I just had this virus this morning. I think I might have gotten on OS somewhere, but that's another story in another thread. Malwarebytes (that I usually use for fixing other machines) didn't work. I ended up using this and it worked great. It's called Reanimator by Regrun.

Not an antivirus. Detects and removes rootkits/malware/adware that your antivirus could not.
