LOL. I agree.
Damn fellas, nice pull.
For me, it's all about my kids. My wife and I spoiled them pretty good. I got an 8gb ipod and that's it. I'm good. I just want to see my wife and kids happy.
Merry Christmas guys!Comment

Re: So - what did you get?
My mom goes overboard for Christmas - we get 14 gifts (some of which contain multiple things inside), and it usually comes out to 1200 a piece for my and my two sisters. Yet, despite getting all of that...giving gifts, to me, is so much more fun.
Take tonight for instance. My mom usually gets my dad a bottle of Maker's Mark, but this year I told her to switch it up. His favorite beer is Racer 5, which is about 12.99 a six-pack around here. I know he loves it but he never buys it for himself because of the cost. So I tell my mom to get a twelve of that instead of the Maker's. She ends up getting him an entire case of it.
My dad's reaction once he realized what it was? "Holy ****." I've never had him thank me so much and, honestly, seeing him happy at his gift was better than getting any of the gifts I got.Comment

Re: So - what did you get?
My grandmother, who passed away almost 3 years ago, would always get me 4 toothbrushes for Christmas so I could have my yearly supply of toothbrushes (you're supposed to change every 3 months). Those 4 toothbrushes mean more to me than any other gift possibly could.
I could honestly get anything I ask for, but I'm happy with what I have.
I do want some things: new phone, iPod speakers, clothes. But I'm not dying to have them, so I can wait.Comment

Re: So - what did you get?
I got stiga table hockey! I will take pictures and post them in this thread. I am in love with this thing...always wanted one since I was in high school (when my brother and I had a beat up version from a dollar store that we ran through...)
I'm 30 now and will put down the PS3 control for a couple of days to practice my table hockey skills...The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!Comment
