    Pranks at work

We have this little rat that we put up at work for Halloween and we have stuck in peoples desk, on their chair, purse, jacket etc to try and scare them. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Well we got a email last week about leaving food out because we might have a rat or mice problem, so they want food to be put in glass jars etc...

Well today I was sitting her and I was like, it smells bad around my desk, like a dead rat or something. The people were in my area saying I kind of smell something or they were saying they don't I had this going a good 20 minutes, looking, opening my desk so on. So I ask the woman behind me to come smell and she is like I kind of smell it, smells like old orange juice or old milk. She walked to the desk in front of me and was looking, and she was looking hard too trying to figure out what I could be smelling. So then we start talking about what if the rat fell out of the vent onto the desk and she was acting all scared saying she would flip out etc... this was going on for a while.

I tell them that I will be back in a few that I was going to the restroom, I walk past the person who was saying she would flip out and toss the rat over her head and it lands right on her keyboard, I have never, ever saw someone jump out of a chair that quick, she runs a around a bit and then starts crying... bwahaha. I felt a bit bad as I didn't expect that kind of a reaction, but oh well.

Anyone got some work pranks to share?

A real one would be awesome and disgusting at the same time.

          Re: Pranks at work

Not sure if this counts, but here's how we stayed busy in the desert before the war started.

While we were deployed to Kuwait during OSW, we were all staying in tents that had plywood walls separating each of our sleeping sections. To prank some of our officers, we snuck into their quarters one day while they were at work. We grabbed all of their stuff, and swapped their rooms around, so that the rooms were identical, but in someone else's room (sounds lame, but when you're stuck in the middle of nowhere for months on end, it's a little more interesting). We all had large two liter bottles of water that we drank out of, and some of us flavored our water with Crystal Light, Kool-Aid, etc. Well, one of the pilots had four or five bottles of what looked like apple juice.

When the pilots got back from work, we heard one of them scream like he had been shot, so we all ran over to see what happened. He came storming out of the tent yelling about someone taking a leak in his water, and started accusing all of us. The other pilot came out, laughing like a schoolgirl. Turns out, instead of walking to the latrine in the middle of the night if he had to go, he just reached for the closest bottle.

We got in trouble for messing with their stuff. The pilot that was too lazy to walk to the latrine was the highest ranking, so he got nothing. The other pilot tried for the rest of the deployment to get us back. The best he could come up with was taking chocolate bars to our underwear, and leaving them in the sun, so we barricaded his tent flaps closed with pallets of opened water bottles.

I always hide food in peoples desk where they can't find it...............until it starts smelling.

I love the one where the dad substitutes the family's cpu mouse with the cold, slimy eel's head, slightly hidden by the retractable desk and the kid grab's it unwittingly.
