Yep, I don't care what other people do, just don't interfere with my happiness.

My belief is that if you are searching for the meaning of life, you'll never find it. Either you have a purpose or you don't. That purpose is self defined. But if you are searching for 1 thing that is going to give your life meaning, you aren't going to find it. You would have already found it by now.

No offense dude, but you kinda act like a girl. Don't get mad or ban me. Let me explain, girls are raised their entire lives for one moment...Marriage. That a Romeo, riding a white horse is gonna sweep 'em off their feet, build a castle, put a few kids in her, and live happily everafter. What did you expect? With that said, you seem unhappy or disappointed with life. Why do you think women binge and purge, shop till it hurts, and explain to me the "padded" bra. One reason, to get a man. And once they get "the ring" they find out it's not all that.

That isn't life. Life isn't a bowl of cherries, it isn't perfect, and it sure as hell isn't easy. That being said, it can be alot of fun. Easy chicks, rollercoasters, butterflies landing on ******** kids noses, Cinco de Mayo parties, Jet Ski's, pizza, ice cold beer, calling in sick to work, and that frickin' squirrel that waterskis are the BOMB! I love life!! Hopefully when I die, I can get back in line for another ride!

I agree so much bro. I think about this daily. Just something as simple as walking bare foot in the grass can feel so special to me cause at some point you won't be able to.

Enjoy EVERYTHING with life, because at some point you will miss even the smallest things that seem unimportant now.

This is why im always happy.

I get to wake up ever morining..and yea my life may not be perfect...but it could be soooo much worse.

dwelling on negativity only compounds the problem...although we all have our moments when we get down, they shouldnt last long if you think about the big picture.

Yep, instead of boo hooing about what we don't have and how pointless our lives are...If you are posting on this website, I can almost guarantee you have it better than at least 5 BILLION people who are living on this Earth right now.

Think about it, you've already been blessed, already won a lottery of some sorts. If you were a 6 year old kid dredging through the mud of a diamond mine looking for shiny little stones at gunpoint, I could understand screaming "What's the point?" But not when ywe have the luxury of free time to do or do not what we please and for the most part to funds to do so as well. Relatively speaking.

I think it's somewhat opposite. Because we have the luxury of time we search for meaning. In circumstances such as you describe we would no doubt realize our meaning was to escape those circumstances. Such is the human condition, when it's been made to be somewhat superficial and shallow we feel meaningless and wonder what the point of all of it is. And despite recognizing that from a logical viewpoint, our subconscious cannot accept that is the truth of the situation.
