Ubuntu is just an Operating System that uses the Linux kernel as its base.

It is all open-source and free.

If you're looking into Linux, I would suggest using this Distro chooser. It'll give you a list of some distros you might like: http://www.zegeniestudios.net/ldc/index.php?lang=en

I suggest starting with Ubuntu or Kubuntu. Although, I'm a bit biased towards Kubuntu.

Thanks and also since PES isn't an American game from what I understand could I still find it in a normal store like Walmart or Target?

            0-25% - couple seconds
            25-68% - few seconds

            68-74% - 30 seconds

74-100% - Several minutes. Someone from DTV explained it to me once, but it never made sense.

Yeah, PES is also sold here. It used to be called Winning Eleven, but they've transitioned into calling the game PES in all regions.

They have an American version. It comes out earlier in Europe/Asia, so it's just the same game as that version so the rosters are kinda out of date. If you have a PS3, you can download option files for it and get correct rosters and kits for clubs. It's also possible for the 360, but I'm too lazy to figure out how to do it.

It gives you links to the distribution homepages, where you can download the distribution.

Live CDs are nice too. If you burn a Live CD, then the actual OS can boot off of the CD to any computer. It's not used very often, just to test stuff out and perhaps try some data recovery on a machine that's failing.

But they are nice. They also assist in installation.

I'd rather listen to the audio of The View over the game than that douchebag.

Yeah, the graphics aren't the best but you don't even really notice it after awhile.

There's also a steep learning curve for the game, so if it's your first version of PES you should just hit the practice mode for a few hours and get used to the controls and then play a game on Amateur and move your way up from there.
