I was on TV a long time ago. I was still a lowercase g at this point. I was in Arizona for the Texas Penn St. Fiesta Bowl (one to forget) and i was at the parade. before everything got started a news reporter came up and asked me about everything..I dont remember exactly what i said but I remember her saying something about my "dad". too bad my dad wasnt there and I looked up only to see the mic in the face of "Dez", my mom's lover at the time, he had came on the trip with us... God he was one of the darkest, ugliest, Mexican dudes ive ever seen too - and im white as all get out. poor news lady. at least she was trying.

im sure the look on my face when she said that was priceless.

Well, we're supposed to get 8-14 inches of snow over the course of the day tomorrow...

Hopefully that means no classes.

Damn coastal warmth. It suppose to change to rain/sleet at some point. Ruining the snow completely. Then it will all freeze. Yay.

Family of 7 killed in L.A. murder-suicide



Police in Los Angeles say a father shot and killed his wife and five young children, then committed suicide, the Associated Press reports.

Deputy Chief Kenneth Garner said the victims included an 8-year-old girl, twin 5-year-old daughters and twin 2-year-old sons, the AP says.

The father was apparently distraught about job problems, the news agency reports.

Police found the bodies after responding to reports of a shooting in the Wilmington area.

Update at 2:35 p.m. ET: The Los Angeles Times quotes Garner as saying police found notes inside the house in which the gunman referred to "work-related issues."

"This was a financial- and job-related issue that led to the slayings," Garner said. "In these tough economic times, there are other options. In my 32 years, I've never seen anything like this."
