That (the workshopping of my story) went...way better than I ever could have expected it.

We usually spend 15 minutes or 20 minutes on a story, then the teacher "bashes" it and gives some long-winded suggestions and we move on.

Well today, I went first and we spent from about 9:35 until 10:15 or so talking about my story. People seemed to like it, none of the people that usually say "I just couldn't get into it" had anything bad to say and even the teacher said everything seemed to work. Didn't offer up his crazy "This is just an idea I had..." suggestions like usual and everything they said I could look into changing was miniature details that don't really change everything...just make things better.

Little things like that, apparently, put me in such a good mood.

One of my co-workers unexpectedly quit yesterday.

We are down to 5 full-time employees running a minor league baseball team. This summer is going to be nuts.

Apparently, ****** college bowling is an actual sport as Alabama A&M and Southern are playing right now in the SWAC tournament.

Ahhhh bad.

Deadline for class withdrawal is tomorrow. The class I want to get rid of, he doesn't have office hours until Tuesday and I need him to sign some form. Bad, bad, bad...I've done horrible in the class and if I keep it, my GPA is going to be horrible.

With the economy in the toilet why would someone just up and quit like that? Besides running a minor league baseball team has to be one of the most fun jobs around.

I never knew that.

I was shocked a few months ago to see that the PBA has been taking slow steps towards a full time PWBA. In fact, the womens games are often slotted in between the main tournaments.

Because he's lazy. He's not from Washington so he's going back to his home state of Texas to sit on his *** and talk about the Cowboys all day. I'm not mentioning that "C" word until football season because that's all I've heard for the past 5 months.

While it's a blast during the summer, the offseason is another story. It's all sales. Which can be fun sometimes, but it's not really my thing. Those 3-4 months in summer though are some of the funnest times. Being at the ballpark all day, eating ballpark food whenever, and working out in the sun. Drinking free beer and taking BP after homestands is a plus too!
