My somewhat strange, but true connections to the NFL.

I was watching sportscenter and just saw Josh McDaniels is the new Broncos coach. It reminded me of my past dealings with his family, Kent State, football, basketball, and the New England Patriots.

It all started back at Kent State. I think it was my second year there. I met a girl named Suzanne. Very hot red head with an ever hotter body. So for whatever reason, we hit it off and started banging. I soon find out that she is the girlfriend of Ben McDaniels, a QB on the football team who is Josh's brother. UH-OH. I was told this by a Kent State football player named Vic Vrabel. Yep you guessed it. Pats LB Mike Vrabel's cousin.

During this time I start hanging out with a dude across the hall from my apt. We start playing video games, and stuff like that. Then I find out his name is Matt Pees. The son of Kent State head football coach Dean Pees, who is now the Patriots defensive coordinator.

My roommate, and best friend Mike, was the sports editor for Kent's newspaper. And apparently nobody cared that I hung out on the field for football game. I got to talk to Josh Cribbs, who told me Ben McDaniels is not to happy with me, but Josh said screw him, I would have given it to her too. lol.

Almost forgot, I got to take notes for a few interviews with Antonio Gates after some of the basketball games. Very nice guy as well.

Nothing ever came of the whole me sleeping with the QB's GF. I broke it off with her, and she was pissed, that was pretty much it.

Whether its stupid or not, I think its an interesting story.

Stealing a D-1 QB's woman is right up there with killing a grizzly bear with nothing but your bare hands on the chart of manliness.

PJ, you are what Willis was talking about.

Haha, nice. I'd love to recreate that nowadays. Saw Julian Edleman w/ his girlfriend at an Outback after one of Kent State's losses this season, and his g/f is smokin' hot
