    I am having a very hard time seeing the other side of this argument. It seems like such a no brainer. While wearing a hood you significantly lower your peripheral vision. Sure, you can get away with doing it, but you are just adding another obstacle to overcome while driving. It just seems like a silly and irresponsible thing to do. Even if you aren't the one out there causing accidents, you lower your chances to avoid them as well.



    It's a diagram showing you how much of your vision is cut off while wearing a hood versus not wearing one.

      If someone wearing a hood caused me a wreck, I'd definitely bring that into discussion and use it against them in dealing with the accident from a legal and civil perspective.

      If I was even a little injured, I'd argue negligence on the driver's part and demand $$$ with a civil suit if necessary.
