My gooooooodness. I got this roasted garlic hummus from Trader Joes Got damn

This stuff is so versatile too. Can use it for ANYTHING. Dip with tortillas, pretzels sticks, put it in salad. Man where have you been all my life Mr. Hummus

My favorite thing to use with hummus is toasted pita (just throw it in the toaster for a bit and it'll crisp up a little), baby carrots, and bagged baby spinach.

It's really easy to make yourself also, you just need to go to Trader Joe's/Whole Foods to get some tahini paste (since that's not normally sold at regular grocery stores). Other than that, it's just a food processor, chickpeas, olive oil, and whatever flavorings you want. I like putting some roasted red peppers (from a jar) into the mix, or some marinated artichoke hearts and roasted garlic cloves.

Hummus is great. I love all Middle Eastern Food for that matter.

Ha, they have lots of veggie choices at least. Ethnic food saves American vegetarians from eating cheese pizzas, pasta, and potatoes for every meal.

Yeah we don't have much of a Greek population here, so the pickins are kinda slim in that regard... but boy do we have some Mexican joints with GREAT tacos pastor. That definitely makes up for it. Some nice Middle-Eastern places here too, though they're all across town from me.

There's nothing better than walking down Federal Blvd in mid-July and stopping at every taco place/cart that has an outdoor spit set up... I love my neighborhood.
