This is what i use, and I always get nice feedback. I usually put on Axe Kilo as a "primer" lol and then Acqua di Gio as the real deal.

Went and smelled all of the ones mentioned multiple times today. Def did not smell a $40 difference between the cheaper ones like Curve and the Armani. I think I'll go with the curve and just tell people it's Armani lol

Married guys, do you wear the cologne your wife loves, or the one the girls love?

You don't smell a difference right away. Good cologne has 2-3 different types of smells that you only smell over 3-5 hours. Also the better the cologne, the longer it will last and the less you have to use.

As long as you think it smells good and it goes well on your body, it'll be fine.

Kind of off topic....but how much cologne do you guys use?

I don't like to use too much. I hate it when a guy that sits around me in class smells like he used the whole bottle and you have to smell the dude the whole time.

I typically only use 1 spray to the neck and then rub my arms across my neck so they get a little hint of the smell too. I don't like people to smell me half way across the room, only when they get close.

...and I usually wera acqua di gio, D&G light blue, or Armani Mania.

What is the difference between Axe body spray or any kind of body spray and cologne? I use the kilo scent body wash and it makes me want to make love to myself everytime I smell it.

1 spray on my neck. Cologne is supposed to be intimate. Meaning people only smell it when they hug you or are really close to you. Cologne isn't an "accessory".

Body wash is just scented soap.

And body spray is worthless IMO.

The wife of course. Seriously cologne is often something my wife gives me as a gift so i often just wear whatever she has picked (assuming it doesn't smell like ***).

I wear whatever smells good to me. There's no way I'm going to spritz something that I can't stand, so wife or not, if it's stank *** to me, it ain't on my skin. Regardless of what the ladies (or the wife) likes.

Granted, my wife likes what I wore before, as listed here before, so it's a non-issue. If the other ladies don't, then they all suck and are superficial whores...a word I don't use often, but is completely applicable for women who would only pay attention to someone due to their artificial scent.
