Hope this is enough to get me through this weekend at the lake camping.

Edit: OK, I should have said "us". That's obviously not all for me.

And one of the Lupulin River is already a casualty. I've got to drink something while I finish packing and prepping.

Definitely a historic, beautiful town. The heat's not ideal, but I'll take it after all the rain we've had.

Let me know how that is. I've been meaning to go, and damn near bought tickets for Sunday. Now I'm going hiking in Harper's Ferry instead though. One of these years I'll actually make it to brew at the zoo.

I will. Rain has definitely been constant. Felt like we were in Seattle lol.

Brew at the zoo was hot as hell lol. It was cool. They had a good amount of vendors and live music. It was packed. Sold out both days. Had some decent staples from flying dog and bells. Flying dog had their version of a Mexican beer. Very good and refreshing. Think it is called numero uno. They put agave in it.

Yeah, I see it in my local store, haven't tried it yet though. I think that sub-5% abv always had me hesitant. I'll have to pick it up soon, sounds like a good summer beer.

Were there many other local brewers out there? A couple selections from each, or a bunch of different beers to choose from? I'm sure there were some crazy lines. Hopefully the sampling glass was enough to tie you over from one to the next.

I'm gonna actually check out brew at the zoo next year, and maybe that beer festival they have at the stadium too.

Lines were kind of long but they moved rather quickly. People weren't hovering at the same spot like I have seen at some wine events. That beer is is definitely a session beer. Just tasted really good with all that heat lol. I know that I saw jailbreak brewing, flying dog, yards, some dundalk brewer that I forgot the name of, bells, evolution, brewers art, and duck claws. There were some other ones too but I just can't remember them all. They had had some German vendors too

Each vendor basically had atleast three to four samples

Had no idea that was there until I drove past it this weekend. Went there tonight. I'll be going back.

Yeah, right past Stem and Stein and the Hunt Club on County Line going towards 565. Which reminds me, you HAVE to try a bison burger at the Hunt Club. It's the most amazing thing you will ever eat and they serve RR there as well.
