That guy sound African not french. Now here's the thing. I don't blame the guy ONE BIT for calling the cops. I know every one of you clowned the guy but guess what, it could have went in a totally different direction. He could have flipped at the way he was getting treated , because let's be honest some of these "Shaniquas" they got working in some of these jobs have ZERO professionalism. Now if he would have flipped out and knocked her freaking block off the first thing people would say is "He should have just called the cops"

Technically speaking, if he was being honest that she was going to hold is food for 15 minutes out of spite, and argument could be made that her actions constituted false imprisonment (seldom used part of the rule, uber technical reading). I mean had he called and just said she was withholding his food for no good reason, that could warrant theft as well. Are these emergency situations, of course not, but I would also say it wasn't the most frivolous use of 911 I've ever heard of. Besides this person was clearly not born in America (I agree the accent sounds very African to me as well), and probably was just using 911 to call the police without knowing he should have called the regular number.

They guy probably doesn't know the regular number for the cops. How many of you know your local stations number? Unless you have to call it for noise complaints or what not, you don't know it.

The idiot worker didn't help the situation. Should of just told him there was any lemonade and then he could have gone somewhere else. The worker possibly could not have been speaking to man though, as some places have outsourced the order taking to a call center.

Cops should have explained to him not to call 911, the operator should have done it to begin with.

We live in an idiot society now. I swear 90% of the public is comprised of idiots. And that doesn't stop with Joe Blow on the streets either. You have idiots working in service, idiot cops, idiot judges , whatever walk of life or profession has it's more than fair share of idiots.

actually I know my local police depts phone numbe. Its programmed into my cell phone.
