So like the title says which one? Watching Bruce Lee movies, no one can deny the pure awesomeness of Jeet kune Du, however in a real fight, would it make a difference? My friend does Ninjutsu, I was going to do it with him when he started 2 years ago, but after the first introduction class, I never went back. The place was sort of far and it was going to be very time consuming.
So now, in all seriousness, my friend is huge, that’s not necessarily from the Ninjutsu, but he does say with it that he works out all the parts of his body he usually wouldn't do in a gym.
Sometime ago we got into an argument over which style would be more effective in a real fight. He got me to believe in that in a dire situation where your just overwhelmed, really neither would work; however what Ninjutsu has taught him has a lot to do with blocking and evading more so than attacking. Now there's a Jeet kune du place that opened up about 20 mins from my house. I do have some spare time and wanted to go get some info and such.
However which of the two is the better fighting style in terms of just plain skills. I also want something to truly make me work out the muscles in my body that I don't use as well. Should I give Jeet kune du a try, or you crawling back to the Ninjutsu dojo I abandoned?
