Portable Basketball System?
I used to have an inground pole before we added a garage and paved our driveway (and before my brother hit and bent the pole with his car!). Its been a few years, but now I want to get another goal and would like to get a portable system. Any recommendations? I'd like to order one from Wal-Mart with the site-to-store option. I'm not sure if I should pay any attention to the reviews because it seems all of the systems have difficulty setting them up, but I don't want to break the bank on this system either (300-400 max).

Re: Portable Basketball System?
I got a portable system for Christmas, but haven't sent it up yet thanks to old man winter. I'd rather have a permanent one, but it's really not condusive to have one on our driveway.Comment

Re: Portable Basketball System?
I guess go with what you can work with then. The portable ones are incredibly fragile and unstable. If you shoot a 15' jumper that hits the back of the rim you'll wonder if the whole standard will collapse, lol."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Portable Basketball System?
I have a Reebok model that works very well. Very stable and the rim is good. I'm pretty sure it's a 48" backboard, and it's called "Reaction Rebound System" or something like that. Wasn't too expensive either, if I recall.IT'S GREAT TO BEA MIAMI HURRICANE"At exactly which point do we start to realizeThat a life without knowledge is death in disguise?"Comment
