Haven't been here all that long, but I've been visiting the site since 2006, I believe, in search of sliders or something for NCAA football.
OS is one of the best(if not THE best) communities on the internet IMO. I have a hard time posting or even visiting other forums, really. OS is like my safe haven on the internet.

Yeah, some guy called bears88 who it says joined on 4/12/2000 and has zero posts. Though I don't know how that is possible since from what I've heard, the current iteration of OS only dates to 2002. Also his card says he's member 28,573 + he's the only member with a join date before 7/17/02. Not sure what the story behind that is. Guess it's just another OS mystery.

The forum was re-launched in July 2002. That is the earliest anyone's join date should read. I know that the OS forums date back a few years before that point; 1998 sounds about right from what I've read from other posters.

I'm coming up on 8 years in about a month. Insane.

Since I've joined...I have got married, got a masters degree, had a child(well my wife did),gained 50 lbs,switched jobs, built a new house, got a dog, lost 50 lbs, took my daughter to her first day of kindergarten.....About the only things that have remained the same is that the Lions still stink and I still play videogames.

3 years ago this passed summer is when I joined. I remember. I had got done working a seasonal job at a fireworks store, and I bought a PS3 with my check. I had enough money left over for one game, and having rented MLB The Show '07 for PS2 and liking it, I bought it for PS3.

And then came using google to trying and find CAPs or a Minor League roster edit for the players not in the game, especially some big prospects. After searching I came across this forum and Knight's Full Minor's. One of the greatest CAP makers I've seen, and probably one of the best forums I've joined.

I don't have that "Should I post this?" filter most people have in their brains. If it pops into my head, I'm posting it. That's why I have so many. 9/10 of them are probably meaningless.

I really only started posting this past summer. Before that I think I had something like 100 posts. I was mostly a lurker for a while
