Re: OS Family Word Association Game
Hey marino, I think more of a reason other than unnecessary bandwidth being consumed is these threads are just an excuse for one to pad their own post count. Normally if this game exists and survives on these forums there are certain rules, like only one post per day and no repeat words. That's why I really liked the body part pun/phrase thread. Not only did it require actual thought, but there were limitations.
Anyway, that's the end of my rant. And I do know what you mean, but honestly before you brought that up, it didn't even cross my mind about padding post counts. I guess that makes sense why not to do it, but I thought it would be a funny little game to do.Comment

Re: OS Family Word Association Game
Nice!
Yeah man, that's just my perspective... I mean obviously I already contributed so I'm not totally against it or anything, but like I just see this forum to be beyond stuff like this is all. Granted, as long as it stays interesting on a somewhat intellectual level (like I said "vet" in response to "Jim" because jim416 on here is a war veteran), it seems appropriately just (and as you said, "funny").And I do know what you mean, but honestly before you brought that up, it didn't even cross my mind about padding post counts. I guess that makes sense why not to do it, but I thought it would be a funny little game to do.
Now that I'm back in here, I guess I'll pitch in a second time nonetheless:
