Met a girl online on Tuesday and things have progressed a lot faster than I had expected. I'm having the most fun I've had in quite a while. But I just need to take it one day at a time.

Been about 3 weeks and things have sort of slowed down a bit. Its clear I have stronger feelings at this point, but I think she's starting to come around. I'm hoping it all works out but you never know.

Quick little update since it's been about a month and a half.

The girl I ended up dating from PoF broke up with me a week after I took her to freaking BON JOVI, because apparently her ex died in a car wreck about a week before we met, and she felt like she rushed into a relationship just to fill the void (granted, she could have told me this before I SPENT $300 ON FREAKING BON JOVI, THE ONE THING SHE SAID SHE WANTED FOR HER BIRTHDAY MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE. I KNOW, AWESOME FREAKING BOYFRIEND, RIGHT?). She asked if I would wait for her to be ready for a relationship, so I said sure because I really liked her and wanted it to work out eventually.

Long story short, about a week later I set up another profile on the site, and lo and behold, she did also. AFTER SHE TOLD ME TO WAIT FOR HER BECAUSE SHE WASN'T READY TO DATE YET. I suppose all she needed was that one week to get over her ex lol (I'm not disputing the dead ex, that's true).

Anyways, I deleted her out of my phone, took her off my Facebook, deleted all of our texts, and won't even log back into PoF.

And for all you cool cats that have been in this thread since early January, I've decided to pursue Girl A (the hot one with tattoos). We hung out the other night on an unofficial date, and we just picked up where we left off a couple months ago. It just felt right to be there with her. And I'm a sappy romantic.

DON'T DATE SOMEONE 4 YEARS YOUNGER THAN YOU THAT JUST GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL is the moral of this story, because they are way too immature and have no idea what a serious relationship takes.

That is a huuuuuge red flag. Lot's of issues there. I think you dodged a bullet to be honest.

To be fair, I didn't know about the dead ex until we were having the break-up conversation.

Same girl since January, so just passed 4 months now. Still going good.

I've infected her mind. Got her to watch Drive with me and now I have her marathoning through The Wire. Getting her to watch Drive was just setting her up so she can understand when I start getting crazy around the time God Only Forgives comes out.
