While I agree its absurd, it is a world cup qualifier and there really is no time to reschedule it since this is the international break. Kind of crappy, but it is what it is. So, you either take a chnace and miss the world cup, or you play.

Or the home team forfeits the game. I could see some problems with that though as I'm sure some crazy european fans would start a stampede at an away game to get the other team to forfeit. You could force the home team to lose all future home games or force future games to be played in an empty stadium.

What is wrong with these people? Do they not have any senses? You don't have a ticket, you can't get in. Go watch it on TV at home or somewhere where there is a TV. If you can't find a TV, listen to it on the radio, but you don't force your way in.

you guys do realize that in order to get trampled you would have to be part of the rush to get into the stadium

What happens alot of times is con men will sell counterfeit tickets to events & people will try to jam in to the match.
