NY City Dudes: I Need Help Finding An Event For the Weekend April 17-18

A friend of mine is looking for something to do for her mother on that weekend. Is there some sort of community calendar/website that I can view to find some suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

DC that question is SOOOO vague man. There's a thousand things to do you gotta kinda narrow it down some.
I do gigolo work on the weekends so if you want her to get done and she's a MILF then I'll do you a favor. lol

I just wanted a website that had a list of events for a 60 year old black woman to enjoy LOL. You don't have to tell me the exact events, but a community events site would be fine

Hey old chicks need love too. As long as the credit cards good. lol
Seriously though you can check out the different local news sites as they have things that are going on listed in the city. As far as one central site or a community events site I wouldn't know any off the top of my head. I would say check the Apollo up in Harlem but I haven't been there in god knows how long so I don't know what that scene is anymore.

Guess you can start here: http://newyork.timeout.com/
I don't swear by this site cause there's something "strange" about the publication. Can't put my finger on it. I guess the word "OUT" in red and considering you can't find the paper anywhere but downtown Manhattan are some subtle clues. lol But they seem to have a list of the things that go on.

If you go a day earlier (16) you could catch Seal at the Radio City Music Hall. I'll be there too!

If someone finds a calendar then it would be news to me.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

Yeah. You kinda just gotta know. Get connected with people who know people kinda thing. There's a thousand things going on but finding out starting from scratch is kinda difficult. If she could narrow it down to what she would like to do then that would be MUCH easier. For instance if she said she likes to visit gardens or something then that's easy. New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx. Or if she wanted to see some dinosaurs then the Museum of Natural History. But she could be the Hip Hop Granny or an usher in the church for all I know so I have no base to work with as far as recommendations.
