    Torn Rotator Cuff

Aloha fellow OSers... It's our loveable noob again.

So I tore my rotator cuff last November (but due to medical appointments being a PITA to make, and chain-of-command thinking that I didn't have a serious injury) I get surgery on Friday. Wasn't told exactly what I did by the shoulder specialist, but in his scrawl I think I read that it was a supraspinatus tear. I was just wondering if anyone has ever had this sort of thing happen and how recovery went.

    Thank ya,

This brings back some bitter and angry feelings.... Tore mine and it ended my baseball career. I was training in the winter time shortly before my second season in college. Threw a ball and POP!! The end.
