Which is better, and why?

It seems like CNNSI ALWAYS has late breaking news first, plus exclusives.

ESPN.com is the worst sport site on the web. Funny that my boys who work there say you can walk around the office and look at all of the PC monitors and every employee will be using YahooSports.com, no one uses ESPN.com at their own damn offices. Too much crap and clutter on ESPN.com.

The articles are decent at ESPN.com, but for checking scores and that sorta thing it's a nightmare.

I prefer cnnsi as well. I find the layout is much better, which makes it easier to find stuff. I also, for the most part, enjoy their editors more. Also, they don't charge you or make you sign up to read "inside" reports on crap.

Overall, the site is just much neater and more organized for my tastes.

Love si.com. I only visit espn.com for their mlb coverage. I've always like Rumblings and Grumblings and I do enjoy reading guys like Rob Neyer, Peter Gammons, and Stark. Also, their chats with Keith Law and the above are always very good. Otherwise, the coverage is bogus.

I just started visiting there more often ever since the A-Roid thing. I was shocked that they had full coverage, the MLB Network was covering and not a damn thing was up on ESPN.

I agree, their MLB analysts are fantastic. I don't visit them for much else. But since I'm always reading about MLB... yeah...

I like Yahoo Sports better than both. If I had to choose between them though, I would choose ESPN because their MLB coverage is better as YP said.

CNNSI confuses me. It really is not set up well, even compared to ESPN. They lost me when they added the fan blogs and all that stuff, whatever it is.

ESPN's content is actually really great. I hate the TV channel but online is really good. Scouts Inc. stuff for game previews and draft articles for all leagues plus blogs from guys like Jay Bilas, Buster Olney, Peter Gammons, Keith Law, etc. Plus ESPN has Streak for Cash!

SI...with the exception of Rick Reilly, who was regrettably traded for Dan Patrick. ESPN in every form other than TV (which you just have to deal with in order to watch sports) is dead to me.

From one eye, to softball Peter Gammons, Joe Morgan, eight hours of SportsCenter re-runs, all the way to the bimbo analysts, ESPN is simply flower scented ****.

ESPN for baseball, SI for football. SI's collection of baseball writers (with the exception of Posnanski) is terrible. Heyman is the worst and has become nothing more than Scott Boras' mouth-piece. Verducci isn't much better. I like Banks and King though when it comes to their NFL coverage, King's Monday Morning Quarterback is great bathroom fodder at work. Over at ESPN, I could do without John Clayton but enjoy Starks, Simmons and Neyer. Unfortunately, more and more of ESPN's content is switching over to Insider which I find discouraging.

For news I only use yahoosports.com...the only reason I check the espn site is for new bill simmons articles and to download his podcasts.

Never use ESPN anymore because now it's just a bunch of useless clutter on there. Before I used to go there for my NFL and NBA news but now I go to Profootballtalk.com for my NFL News and either YahooSports or realgm.com for my NBA News.
