    Quick question about Careerbuilder.com

Hey guysl, my mom is looking to post her resume on Careerbuilder, BUT she doesnt want her current employer to see her resume on there.

We can take her name off the resume(Word doc) before we upload it, but will they still see the registered name that she signed up with on the careerbuilder site?

Also, if we select to keep it private from employer searches, can she still apply to stuff that she chooses to apply for?

    Thanks!

Dude it is so many resumes on there, they will have a hard time noticing hers. I mean seriously you know how many people in this country that has your mom's name ?

In my county alone, there are 12,575 guys with my 1st name. 539 guys with my 1st and last name. And 80 guys with my 1st, middle and last name.

Far as applying to jobs, most jobs don't allow quick apply and will just link you to their company website where you got to fill out an application on that company's website itself. Along with take an online assessment test that lasts about 45 minutes.

Yeah but you missed the point. There can be 10 million people with your name, but probably only one that is working at your job and your position.

        Re: Quick question about Careerbuilder.com

Nobody going to be looking for her. Because if her company isn't hiring, they won't even be on that website at all browsing. Also companies don't search by registered names anyway, they search by resume title.

        For example: Accountant, Banker, etc.

But like I said, yeah she can keep her contact info private because she has to go to each individual company website to fill out an application anyway.
