Re: America's most violent cities
The reason the smaller southern cities are on the list is because its # of violent crimes per 100,000 people. The southern cities probably only have 1 area where there are violent crimes and many of the cities are in the drug routes coming from Miami. There aren't as many total crimes but because of the smaller population, the % is higher.Comment

No it's the terrible economic climate there, and it has gotten worse since MSU lost to UNC during the Final Four. The Spartans were the beacons of hope for Detroit and the entire state of Michigan.

Re: America's most violent cities
No Camden? Newark? Trenton?
BLASPHEMY...
Well I can see Charlotte, I lived in NJ all my life, had no issues, I'm down here for 2 months wham car gets broken into. So much for southern hospitality, plus the cops are super inept, they didn't even want to bother filing a report.
Surprised there's no D.C. on there as there is at least a murder a day in Southeast.
I'm surprised PG County is not on there, but I guess since LA County isn't up there (or a city w/in it) that's why it's not listed.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment
