BDoughty: So how long have you been with Operation Sports?
Fsquid: Steve gave me the "graveyard shift" of news posting two years ago. Back when there were no forums, Steve had a life, and the main posters of the basketball forum were over at IGN.
BDoughty: Your love of Soccer and text based games, please explain your fascination with both?
Fsquid: My family is German. So, instead of being brought up on Ruth, Maris, and Aaron; I was brought up on Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Muller, Pele, and Klinnsman. Soccer is a world-wide game, every country plays it. I love playing GM and manager, so text-based games give me the most control over a team without having my performance based on how I punch a button.
BDoughty: You now play Nascar online with several members here at OS. What made you change your mind about turning left hundreds of times?
Fsquid: Have you seen TCrouch? Can you say no to him? I didn't think so. I am a gamer and since TCrouch, Bdunn, and Bkrich acted like it was the greatest experience, I had to give it a shot. I'm hooked to online racing. It is like nothing on XBL. I will, however, never watch it!!!
BDoughty: Tell us about the Griffin family?
Fsquid: The Griffin family will be started on July 12th. That is when I will marry my fiance, Ashley, at my alma mater. I am looking forward to a life with her, and I hope my gaming doesn't get shutoff like Steve's. Plus, I will never slave in a basement for 6 months!!
BDoughty: Other then playing text based sports games, your newfound love of all things that turn left, discussing the merits of English Premier Soccer, dressing up in only shingaurds, face painted blue and white and screaming that you are William Wallace when playing XBL, do you have an hobbies?
Fsquid: I ref basketball and will hopefully be able to get back into coaching in the near future as it is something I love. Plus, with the time I invest in getting my hopes up for Memphis football and enjoying the newfound sucess of the basketball team, who has time for hobbies!!!

Fsquid: Of course, in the "Land of Elvis", all dark haired males are required by law to sport them. Plus, chicks dig the sideburns, do you really think a woman would marry me based on my personality?
Clay_OS: Squid as a nickname. Is that because you like to play with people's tentacles?
I tried to play with yours, but your wife got that restraining order against me. Maybe BK will play with you at E3. Actually "fsquid" stands for Flying Squid. I named the team I coached when I was in high school that. They liked the "silly" nickname.
Heelfan: How many rebel flags do you have hanging up in and around the house ? how many on your vehicle?
