Sorry to hear that bro. If you can try to be strong for your mom. That is heavy stuff. Death sucks. I know it is apart of life, but it still sucks. I lost my Grandma last week. Wow 66 is young. Like I said if you can try to be strong for your mom. The older I get the more I realize my parents are not going to be around too much longer. Cancer took my 12 year old cousin a couple years ago. My prayers go to you and your family.

Sorry to hear that, I just had the "When you or mom pass" talk this past weekend with my Dad, (still in good/decent health). What to do paperwork, insurance wise when that day comes, very difficult convo I had, so my condolences to you.

Things brings back many emotions for me as I lost my dad 3 years ago (May 5, 2006, I was 26, he was 61) It was the hardest thing I have been through. I will never forget that call. A total shock. You just have to remember the good times you had with your dad. You will never forget him. I think about my dad every day. It really does put your life into perspective and to not take anyone for granted.

It always helps to talk about your loss and to know that people care to listen. You will get through this initial tough time, and you will always remember the good times.

My mom had cancer twice in a 12 month 2yrs ago.
The 2nd time almost killed her.

I can only imagine what it's going to be like losing a parent.

I am sorry for your your loss. My Dad died from cancer two years ago. It's a tough thing to watch a loved one pass away.

Hey guys! I've not been around for a few days. My dad passed away this past Friday due to complications from cancer surgery. We as a family are in shock because for the first 8 days after surgery he was recovering so well. This is the absolute hardest thing that I've been faced with in my whole life. I will depend on the Lord to get me through this. This is just a total shock to me.

I just seen him the day before he developed complications & he was doing better than expected. I's just so sad & overwhelmed right now with grief. He was only 66 years old & was a strong man. We just thought he would always make it through anything because he was so strong & a fighter. I will never get over him but he'd want me & my entire family to keep the faith & go on with our lives. It's just so hard because he was loved by many & never met a stranger in his life. He made many friends & always has been a family man. I cry as I write this & please keep me in your thoughts because this is truly the most difficult thing I've ever faced. Thanks!

May God embrace your family, & give you the strength to live ahead bro.

My condolences.

My wife lost her father this past summer, and it's still hard for her at times.

Sorry for your loss, just focus on the goodtimes and stay positive. Celebrate his life, and allow him to live through you by telling your kids the things he use to tell you as a little boy.
