My aunt got bit by a Brown Recluse one time, it almost killed her. Rushed her to the ER and docs said we got her there just in time.


I however hate killing things. Even Spiders.

The spider in the OP looks like a common spider around Texas that is harmless to humans. They are actually good because they eat a lot of bugs.

I used to have 2 or 3 of these with big webs across my windows on my house

In Florida its called a banana spider. That's a female, the male is small and mostly brown/black. The male is also killed after wards.

I just get a lot of these spiders around my house.
My previous house I used to live in(it was a old home) had a bunch of them. They were always found in corners, bathtubs, and sometimes on my bed when I wake up(!)













Oh, and what would you guys do if you found this somewhere in your backyard?

I scared the fear of spiders out of me when I crawled under a house for a job and there were tons of spiders just hanging out. Most of the ones around a house do some good.
