Re: What vehicle do you drive?
Well, I usually drive a 1992 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer. It was a pretty good car back in the day (It was actually bought off the showroom floor and had a CD player, which was pretty rare for 1992 models), but it's definitely starting to show it's age now with stuff breaking on it (Air conditioning is out now!). Still, it drives great.
Other cars that I occasionally drive are our 1994 Silverado Pickup Truck and our 1998 Lincoln Navigator. The Lincoln Navigator is pretty nice, even if it is 11 years old.
I've actually never driven a sedan before (only SUVs and Pick-Up Trucks).
My parents keep on talking about replacing the Blazer, but in the end with car payments and such, it just isn't worth replacing it. It gets good gas mileage and still drives well. We've had the cars paid off for over seven years now and it's nice. We have the money (My dad probably makes more money than at least 95% of the members of this site), but my parents are pretty wise with their money and don't spend a lot and stay out of debt.
I normally drive a fully loaded 08 Silverado, my dad drove it for about a year and a half. before I got it and put about 70,000 miles on it with his work. Now he drives an 09 Sierra Denali, and that thing can fly, it's got a corvette engine. I'm hoping I can get that truck in a year or so. He has to trade in trucks quite a bit because he puts so many miles on them for his work.
My mom drives an 07 Suburban, my sister drives an 07 FJ Cruiser, and we have an 04 Porsche Boxter.
I'll take a pic of my truck and post it tomorrow.Last edited by auburntigersfan; 05-22-2009, 11:06 PM.WUSTLComment

Re: What vehicle do you drive?
When you posted how much you liked this car, it's what prompted me to push my wife towards the G37. I was looking at the G35 when I bought my 08 GS350 (although the GS is more in the M45 range) and liked what I saw.
My wife was looking at an 09 Maxima about 4 months ago before I had her look at the G37. She fell in love with it once she drove it. Once we priced them it was a no brainer. The Maxima sticker was only 1-2K less than the G37 with the same options (nav, heated seats etc...). The Maxima didn't have AWD though. It makes me wonder why Nissan priced the 09 Maxima so close to the 09 G37? IMO, the interior and exterior of the G37 was much nicer.
The best part is, the only Infiniti dealer in Pittsburgh would only go 3K below MSRP. We went to Maryland and got them to go $6800 off MSRP and got them to ship it up here for free. With this econony, it was a great time to buy.Comment
