Re: Any good video game podcast out there?
I listen to the Listen Up podcast (formerly 1up) but it has sucked for several weeks in a row now. I know it is the slow season for game releases but they really go to in depth with the insider trends/gossip/sales figures. Kinda boring lately.
A few former EGM guys have Mobcast which is good so far. Dan Hsu, Robert Ashley (or Atchley), and Greg Ford among others. A different format, 5 guys each with 5 topics to discuss.
Finally, Geekbox. This is pretty good, it is more than videogames though. They talk games, movies, TV, and comics. To much of "Lost" talk for my taste though, but the movie reviews and discussion is fun to listen to. -

Re: Any good video game podcast out there?
Who is doing Listen Up? I thought Shane left 1Up Network officially right? They lost a lot of great quality people there. I like John Davidson but Garnett is not a great quality. Kind of annoying for my liking. I might start doing the EGM thing possibly. Didn't know they let Shoe go also. Might try out Giant Bomb too. Good recommendations guys.......I listen to the Listen Up podcast (formerly 1up) but it has sucked for several weeks in a row now.
