I think you can't go wrong with any Ashton cigar. But they are closer to $10 each.

I've never tried an Ashton or a Montecristo...I tried a $15 Gurkha once, it wasn't worth 15...and I bought a Macanudo sampler...., great flavor, tough draw.

but those are my only forays into >$6 cigars.

I have become a huge fan of Rocky Patel "Java" Robustos. They go great with an iced coffee.

+1 Rocky Patel's are a really good smoke. I also like Nicaraguan JOYA Cigars. You also can't go wrong with Romeo Y Julieta's or HOYA de Monterrey's

A friend of mine got me a box of Cohibas for Christmas, I love them saving the last few for special occasions. I wish I could buy a box for myself but they start a about $200 or so.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Picked up some Rocky Patel "Edge's" very good. I like them more then the 92's

Never smoked anything good, but last decent cigar I had was a Backwood grape. Never had anything other than gas station **** though.

You would love anything in the ACID brand catalog. They are really really good cigars for people who like flavors.

I smoke black and milds quite often on weekends, and a decent cigar every once in a while. Normally I've been smoking A Fuente or La Traviata cigars. I think I'm going to slow down a bit, maybe not smoke at all until I finish my senior football season this year, though.

Your not inhaling anything? So why would you need to cut down?

Some gets in anyway, but I guess that amount doesn't really matter. I mostly smoked them when I was partying with friends, it's more of a matter of stopping partying than smoking cigars.
