    Sad story (another crazy "mother")

Warning: For those who don't want to read stories like this, please stop reading now.

This happened in a city about 25 miles north of me. Sad stuff.

Officials still unravelling knife attack on two girls near Hillsboro, while their mother waits in jail

HILLSBORO — The day after a restraining order against Debra Janelle Jeter ended, the 32-year-old picked up her 12- and 13-year-old daughters at 6 p.m. Friday and told them she had a surprise.

Kiersten and Kelsey Jeter hadn’t seen their mom for 14 days. Jeter had attempted suicide at their 101 Brazos St. house and received psychiatric treatment at the DePaul Center in Waco, according to court records.

<!--endtext--><!--begintext-->The girls told their dad goodbye, and authorities say the two were excited to get into the car with their mom and find out what her surprise was.

<!--endclickprintinclude--><!--startclickprintinclude-->Three hours later, both girls were found bloodied in the bathroom of a sprawling, abandoned ranch house.
    Their throats had been slashed

          Crazy mother indeed.

          Did one girl die?
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Sad story, don't know how you could do that to your own kids.

They were so exicited to see thier mom according to the story... this hit me.

In piecing together information, he said, his investigators saw a particularly bone-chilling statement on Kiersten’s MySpace page. It was dated the day before she was stabbed and her sister was killed.
The message remained on the girl’s page even Monday.
“I get to see my mom tomorrow! Yay!” she wrote

I read lots of really really horrible news often but this one hits me harder than most. My heart goes to the family and community.
